{UPDATE ALERT} EVO 4G manual update available for some

Sprint announced that they will be pushing an update for the EVO 4G (or OG 4G as I like to call it).  This update to version 4.53.651.1 includes:

Integrated voice recognition accuracy with voice search and voice-to-text
Image size issue with contact transfer over Bluetooth
Images cut off in Picasa
Group contacts not in alphabetical order
Out of memory, Unable to send SMS

I’m sure there’s more, but that’s all that was listed.  From what I’ve read, this update isn’t available to everyone yet, but some are receiving the update when checking manually.  If you own a 4G, check it out, and see if you can haz update!

Safe to assume that this OTA WILL take away root access, so if you’re rooted, you may want to wait for a dev to root it, then flash it when it’s re-released!
